4 or 5 years ago i was watching an interview on tv with samantha morton (british acress) she was really raving about this book... ham on rye by charles bukowski the way she was talking about it really got me going, i went out and bought it, loved it, read all the other books, short stories...

thanks a lot for mentioning that those videos are on googlevideo been wanting to watch those for ages and ages and they're great :D

in the dvd extras there was a poem filmed piece that i thought was more in keeping with how i see the books in my head

i thought it was a pretty bad film, it being set in the now made it worse, and there was no typewriter in the film at all as far as i could see, a pretty weird omission.
