Thanks PBBUK - all books are in fine condition; all with acetate dust jackets & kept in smoke-free, pet-free, child-free conditions. No sun, either. But I need to sell them as a lot - much as I'd like to sell individual books to genuine fans. Thank you.

Cheers Chronic - yes, of course & some pics. I'll get on to that - I just want to test the water; no idea what, if anything is selling. I've got some beautiful books & hate to sell, but . . . any reasonable offer I'd consider. I'll throw it open . . . I'll get back once I've looked about. Big...

Ham On Rye - ugly design.

What do you make of this? http://www.abebooks.co.uk/servlet/ListingDetails?bi=1087531548.

Ham On Rye - ugly design.

Bone PB. I like - luminous & cartoonish: funny. The Most B. Woman in Town is a photo, right? (City Lights edition). Like most, I naturally put Buk with BSP, & I get odd feelings when I see them in book shops (rarely, now). The closed Compendium Books in Camden (London) was stacked with Bukowski...

Ham On Rye - ugly design.

Is it just me thinking that Ham On Rye is the ugliest offering from the BSP? I'm not talking content - just the way the thing looks: the lurid colour & all that.

New, first post, seeking, 'The Captain is out to lunch..." and

Hi Hannah. For books, try ebay or abebooks.com; just type Bukowski into the search engine and you'll get loads of hits. I'd suggest some early stuff. Try "Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame" - a collection of the earliest and, in my opinion, the best poetry.

    Nobody's PERFECT!

I was disappointed with the cover of "Septuagenarian Stew" - it looks like the hack job of some drip graphic designer who's got 'til 5 o'clock to come up with the goods. I also have a love/hate thing with the cover of "The Night Torn Mad." Does anyone know where the photograph comes from...

Jesus - have you seen this!

Look at this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Charles-Bukowski-Autograph_W0QQitemZ140023647371QQihZ004QQcategoryZ14433QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I don't know what to say. Is this CUT out from a book to protect it?

    What's this worth?

Shit. Sorry Chronic. This isn't working. I meant to post a picture of a book - but it didn't come out as it was supposed to. So: there are 2 threads - the first relating to the book on ebay & the second . . well, I have to work at it. Sorry.

    What's this worth?

Just curious. How much is this worth? A friend let me take these pics with the knowledge I'd ask some Buk experts. He's asking $450. It seems steep & I already have one of these firsts (but that was given me). I just don't know. HELP...
