  5. Punk Chicago-style:

  6. Bukfan "The law is wrong; I am right"

I think this must be the longest Stones song ever. It´s from their 1966 "Aftermath" album, and such long songs were rare on albums back then. The way Jagger sings "Going Home", starting at 4:40, reminds me of the way Jim Morrison sang "Gloria".

  7. One of my favorite songs of the last several years.

  9. hoochmonkey9 sorry Ma, forgot to take out the trash.

I like it, but it seems like more of the same. Not that the same is bad. I bought it the day it came out but I need to listen to it more.

Have you ever had a near death experience? Today, I foolishly mixed CLR with bleach to really clean the shit out of something. It created toxic fumes that I simply inhaled. I immediately thought of this song. Go figure!

Ron Asheton's birthday today. He would have been, if I've done the math correctly, 64.

  21. number6horse The Sandy Koufax of miniature golf

Saw these guys play last week for a crowd of about 30 people and they tore it up. The line-up includes drums, keys, two guitars and TWO BASS GUITARS. Crazy kids these days...

  22. Digney in Burnaby donkeys live a long time

This guy topped the bill first night of last weekend's Vancouver Folk Festival. Lucinda Williams (Lucinda fucking Williams!) was billed second.

He also teams up on occasion with Canada's Olympic poet.
