Danny Mac

I rent a small cottage. I have been here 21 years. At times in the summer it feels like 'Bag end' in Hobbiton. I haven't had a real full time job since June of 2008. I am stuck in a rut so big a Monster truck couldn't get out. I suffer from chronic pain in both knees and my right shoulder is torn up from a life time of drumming and many years of Ice Hockey, and many years of weighing out powders in the Pharma industry. I used to love skiing. I went 5 or 6 times a year all thru my 30's with an old buddy of mine. We went to Vermont once a year and I looked forward to it all year long. I miss skiing and drumming very badly. Getting old is a real drag. I enjoy movies and reading tremendously because all's I can do is sit in a chair and watch the movies or read the books. Thank God for Bukowski and all the other great writers and movie producers. I used to be a big drinker of beer but now I still drink but I drink a lot less. I have also started drinking wine a few years back.
