    Big Ed's was run by my in-laws You're absolutely right - Big Ed's is now a Culver City parking lot; but my in-laws were there running the place from about 1980 to 1987 when it was condemned/torn down, including while Barfly filmed; they met Buk, and my father-in-law had to sneak him a drink once...
