Kent is a great friend of mine. Solid dude, funny as hell, and superbly talented poet. Regarding Kryss... he prefers his reclusiveness.

Bukowski used it twice: once as the title of a poem in The Roominghouse Madrigals... and again as the closer of the poem "consummation of grief" which appears in Mockingbird Wish Me Luck.

I picked up a copy of Earth Rose a few months ago. it's incredible.

Kryss is still alive and kicking. Kent Taylor is another unsung hero from Cleveland who is living out in SF. He's got a forthcoming collection to be released by Between Shadows Press at the end of this month.
