I think you actually started on the wrong track. It's not your fault because the instinct is to read novels by great American writers. But Bukowski's novels are not his greatest works. You kept your interest after reading Pulp and that says something-- only hard core fans could appreciate it...

I would guess Abel wouldn't agree with that either.

That seems reasonable compared to ABE listings. And the condition is better than the higher prices on ABE. I think Story had a pretty good print run, but there aren't many copies around for this issue. One question: Is the binding still still tight? I ask that because it's basically impossible...
