Bach, Beethoven and Brahms were his favorites. I think there's a poem named or containing "The Three Bs" and those are to whom he is referring. He was also a big fan of Jean Sibelius.
I'm charging my camera battery and will post a photo in a bit. BTW, the versions are the same in Run with the Hunted and The Days Run Away... with one minor exception: for some reason, in Run with the Hunted, all of the semi-colons are preceded by a space (but the commas aren't). Since Run with...
Hi tkerenyi: Translation is a very difficult thing. It's one thing to translate a simple essay from English to Spanish or even French, but beyond that, translating poetry is full of problems.
This line from Bukowski is classic for him because he is drawing a parallel between how he feels while...
That signature looks fine to me, tinux.
And Pogue: My copy of Dorbin looks very similar. I always viewed it as a nice representation of the juxaposition of free-form writer and meticulous bibliographer.
It's about time that we actually got back to providing analyses in something close to real time and keeping this board alive. Little detective work like this is going to promote that for me, anyway.
Correct. This shows the correct content for pages 2 and 3 from Wormwood 11 but in the booklet, page 35 (actually not numbered in the booklet) is next to page 2 on that sheet of paper. The material under the solid lines on pages 2 and 3 was added to the flyer; that doesn't appear in the booklet...

Hey Trevor: I only understood a few of the words you posted (I'm an organic chemist and drinking water protection guy by trade). Let me put it this way: I trust you, but would like to honor Hannah's wishes. Run with that as you may. I don't think that format/similar look matters at all to me...
The database I found on the wayback machine (see link above that I posted on Thursday) has no search functionality. You can get to the search page but it doesn't pull up anything when you search (probably because it's not linked to the .php files Hannah posted and various related reasons). The...
Thanks Hannah. I think those of us who have been here a long time have some sense of how much work you put into the DB. I know I put a fair bit of my time into pulling together the Wormwood information I sent you and that is just a very small portion of the content, so your effort must have been...
Hey Trevor: I'm really glad to see that you care about this. We'll do what we can to get where we can, and I trust you to help us get wherever that is.
The search allowed exact match and loose match, so that to me implies some form of content search, although it may have just allowed close titles to link to actual titles in the DB.
