You'll get "thumbs up" as soon as you post proper pictures. BTW, are you sure this is not Bukowski with the LA Lakers?

    Unknown Bukowski pictures?

I've seen the Barbet Schroeder picture here. His picture with cat seems to be the part of the same photo session as this one. The Linda/bottles pictures ring a bell but I can't place them. I wish I haven't. I think I've seen it somewhere around here. Let me check.

Ditto. That archive is one of the greatest gold mines I've stumbled across since I've set my foot in this place. Or even since I've started using the Internet. I don't mind the digging, I LOVE it.

Right-click on a page in the archive and you'll be able to download it in a PDF format (only that page, not the whole issue, sorry). If you want to pull a scan (a JPG image or such) out of a PDF file you can use Adobe Acrobat or a similar program.

Notes of a Dirty Old Man - Open City

I've counted 89* issues of Open City with Bukowski's column in it. *Bukowski's Gossip Column and The Horseplayer issues included It looks like out of 92 issues he didn't write a column for numbers 1, 18 and 66. In #1 he wrote a review of that Hemingway book, and I haven't seen any scans for #18...

I believe I can help fill some of the gaps: I made a picture because it's hard to preserve original formatting (tabs and all) in forum posts. In case you want to copy/paste this, here's the (scrambled) text: start/title source...

It's in Notes of a Dirty Old Man, p.199 (City Lights edition)/p.155 (Virgin edition). I saw Digney in Burnaby in Prague last year. He was standing in a back street handing copies of this out.
