Thanx chronic, for keeping me on my toes. I did say it was the nightly local news. I guess he was slated to get it,(& he knew), but the official award year presentation is taking place after his death. :oCRB

I just heard on the local nightly news that George Carlin has recieved the first posthumus, Mark Twain Award for American Humor. Carlin said it was the one comedy award he respected most. It was awarded to him not long before he passed away. He died this past June, 2008. CRB:)
