Fling issues (with or without Bukowski) are usually quite expensive on eBay... and elsewhere, that is, if you find them.

could be due to different use of language.

Buk always calls 'Playboy' and the likes "girlie magazines" referring to the content, while in Germany you will always find them in the stores under the label "men magazines" addressing the target group.
Looking in German magazine-stores under the label "Women magazines" you'll find mags about knitting or gossip about Lady Di.

Yeah, depends how you define "subject". Is the subject your topic subject or your target readership? So "men's magazines" would be Fling, Penthouse etc. because the audience are men but I contend the subject is (largely) women.
