A question regarding Bukowski in Congress #1, 1967... (1 Viewer)

Sad Flower in the Sand
So I was reading through all the introductory pieces to Blazek's Sampler from 1969 and he makes a passing reference to an excerpt from a novel in Congress magazine and... well, what novel was that excerpted from?

I assume that since Post Office was written in 3 weeks that it must either be a later novel, or something that never saw the light of day as a finished piece... anyone out there have a copy of this that knows what it is?
