and where did he get off spewing this nonsense. . .

I read the comment. Then the poast was gone.

Luckily, I anticipated that he would take down the site, so I saved his page before he did.

Well, the guy wrote to me, and said that he had
gotten the quotes from an unreliable source.

He got embarrassed when he found out the quotes
were not Bukowski's, and wanted people to know
that he took the page down because it seemed the
best thing to do once he actually understood that the
quotes weren't accurate.

I wrote back to the guy, he read this thread, but the letter
to him bounced. . . so. That's what I know about it all.
