I recently subsribed to the podcast of this program and lo and behold! I just missed a program on Bukowski sent April 8. Did any of you Brits catch it by chance?

And can anyone dig up the podcast for this date?:

BBC - Radio 4 - Great Lives (click)

Charles Bukowski 8 April 2008

Writer and comedy star Rhona Cameron nominates Charles Bukowski as her "great life" because of the enormous influence his writing had on her adolescence. He belongs to an earlier generation, that of the Beats in early 60s America; the expert witness is his biographer, Barry Miles, who discusses how far Bukowski's life can be understood from his poetry and prose.

Those "lolcats" are possibly the stupidest thing the internet has spawned (outside of hamsterdance and goatse, of course), yet I find myself laughing at them far too often. I may be losing my mind.

Once a man and twice a child...
