What kind of dad was Buk? and how'd his kid(s) turn out? - was it just the girl he had? I understand that the one thing isn't always related to the other, but....

and

How much (if at all) was Buk writing during those 12 years he worked at the post office?

Everybody says he was a good father and had a close loving relationship with his daughter. She went to university and became a computer expert. She is his only child.
He wrote plenty during his time at the post office, such as poems and short stories for the small press and he had the column, Notes Of a Dirty Old Man, in the mag Open City...
