I'm just curious what other people's opinions are on David Amram.
For those of you unfamiliar with his work, he's the first musician that Jack Kerouac ever collaborated with and wrote the music for the short film "Pull My Daisy."
I've had the chance to meet him twice, and he's the kind of person that will be as excited to meet you as you are to meet him. In my opinion he is an extreamly talented musician, and just an overall amazing person.
His daught, Adira Amram also makes music, although nothing like the work of her father, it's "Electro/Comedy/R&B" at least that's what her myspace page says, she's worth listening to, if only for at least a laugh. I think the funniest thing was watching her perform a song with the like "I'm looking for some dick tonight" and her father being in the audience just laughing and shaking his head.
