Did Buk and Hemingway ever meet in real life? (1 Viewer)

He mentions him quite a few times. Did they ever actually meet and or hangout and maybe have a beer?

I'm pretty sure that they did not. Had Hemingway lived into the 1970s or 1980s, it would probably have happened, but in 1961 Buk was a prolific, but still unknown (outside the small press) writer.
