I try to stay on the lookout for good self-published novels. So much that gets published by Big Publishing is such tepid shit. It is a rigged and corrupt system. I figure the independent spirit that would lead someone to self-publish a novel correlates well enough with having something interesting to say. Well enough, anyway, that there are some gems out there among all the DIY thrillers, romances, and whodunits.
Here are a few that I have enjoyed:
"In the Weeds" by Jim Sala
"Madly" by Neal Bailey
"Bad Attitude" by Leopold McGinnis
"Sin City" and "Jetty Man" by Bill Reynolds
Any other recommendations?
