Minor but annoying Martinisims, such as adding "I'd think, "she'd say," etc.

How he even can think to change sexless in to sexy. Bad bad editing.

Or change saying, "oh, my god, I'm really LIVING!" to "oh, my god," I'd think, "I'm really LIVING!" which completely strips it of any humor or irony and just makes it sound pathetic.

Maybe "John the Butcher" was inspired by Raymond Carver's editor...
