interesting project from google, using their streetview technology to roam various art museums.

I'm most impressed by the super-zoom technology used. it really allows you to examine brushwork, etc. in incredible detail.

looking at some of the van Goghs in super zoom it's almost like looking at sculpture. that paint is thick. must've taken forever to dry.

I found it when they had the museums under the search window a couple days ago--and I zoomed in to indivdual brushstrokes too! Very awesome!
