Officials say drugs may have played a part
There is already a very good thread on Atomic Scribblings for a Maniac Age, but I'm starting a new one for Harrison Street Review No. 2 since this one is not in the database and this is where 11 of the drawings surfaced in 1971. Philpot didn't mention their past (as you can tell by the intro), but told the editors he wanted to donate them to the magazine (see pages 122-123, Charles Bukowski, King of the Underground, Abel Debritto). Posting full pages first, then individual drawings.
