Currently on a penniless run.
I really dont like all this modern stuff we have now, too many mobile phones, facebooks and twitters.
You see them every place.

Hit a low point last year came across barfly and loved it, I searched and read further.
I like the fact that bukowskis stuff still hasnt been overly whored out to the masses yet.
Kind of still feels clean and un polluted.

Bukowski works for me because I can read his work sober and it still hits the spot.
Sometimes you have so much to moan about but no body wants to hear it, and it hardly ever changes a thing when you do.

Starting to read his works now.

While Buk hasn't necessarily been "overly whored out to the masses yet," there are enough hacks with word processing tools who regurgitate poems about booze and sex and the like to make you rethink that statement if you are unfortunate enough to be exposed to some of it. That said, Buk's work "still feels clean and un polluted;" well, er, some of it.
