My name is Jim, my username is my blood last name. I chose it because my grandfather was a man much like Bukowski-- a drinker, carouser, an unrepentant skirt-chaser,etc. Although not a writer he had a profound influence on me . I discovered Buk about a year and half ago and he completely changed my style and outlook on poetry and writing in general. I'm an aspiring poet(maybe thats my problem) an would love to make contact with other poets and people involved with small independent press. I'm proud to be here. Long live Hank
