i chose the latter, i guess it's just not all it's cracked up to be :(

So, on to the usual: only been a Bukowski reader for about 3 or 4 years now, although it feels like my whole life. First learned of him because I was told I wrote like him, although it turns out that at the time it was nothing at all like him besides the whole alcohol thing. My writing has grown more like him though over the years, not out of emulation but it's just become more natural since I read him so much. Can't help it, it seems.

Living in NYC, missing Cali more and more every second.

And that's about the end of it. Besides that I've been lurking here for a long time now, and I'm hoping to build up my Bukowski collection.
