HELP ;-) (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone !

I am at the moment discovering the books of Chinaski, because he used to say that he was a huge admirer of Louis-Ferdinand Céline, my favourite writer of all time…

Anyway, I am writing from Belgium, in Europe, and I need to find the original texte of a quote that I only have in French.

Could someone here, very kindly and generously, send me a picture of the page, in the book « On Writing », where Bukowski writes about Céline,
and says that between Céline et Dostoïevski there is nothing, but Henry Miller. I attach a picture of the text in French, in order to help.

Sooooo many thanks in advance !

Dear Zobraks,

I am preparing a little documentary (about 25 minutes) for my little channel on Youtube.
It’s all about American writers and their connection to Céline.
I would like to put you into the « credits » section, as you helped me very kindly with this quote of Bukowski.
Unless you don’t want to be cited, of course.
Shall I put « Zobraks » as your name ?, mentionning also the forum you manage about Bukowski ?

Dear Jeannotlapine11,

Feel free to put me in the credits (I yearn for FAME and GLORY like any other simpleton man

).
As for my name - "zobraks" will suffice, I don't want rabid fans to start besieging my house.
Make sure to mention The Forum, though.

Hello FallinMontreal,

My documentary will be released next weekend, on YouTube, I can already tell it’s a great funny interesting little thing, I’ll let you know here once out.

Dear Zobraks,

I am confused to ask you another favor : the page that you sent me is missing one or two sentences, that are on the previous page.

Would it be possible to send me that page also ?

Super sorry to bother you again.

But no worry, you will have your moment of glory in my documentary ;-)
