Hooked by Fluke (1 Viewer)

This morning around 3am is when I stumbled upon a blog with a page with favorite Charles Bukowski quotes and excerpts. His pithy comments so resonant and true led me here to find out more about him. I haven't read a book, short story, or even an entire poem of his - only pages and pages of quotes and excerpts. After copying down almost 4 pages of quotes into my journal, I gave up on the hotpotch approach. I had to know more about him, how thought, what he wrote and when, and of course, where to start. I've heard that following the fiction novels by the timeline of publication is a good start but I'd like to throw in short stories and poems that he was doing at the same time. If any suggestions, I welcome them.
