Howdy,
I often have a nose at this site but don't think I've posted before - so here goes.
Think I first read Buk about 20 years ago when I was 18. It was "Post Office" and "Women". To be honest - I didn't "get it" then. A bit of life under the table and on re-reading him - it all clicked perfectly into place.
Been a big admirer for a long time now.
Today I've been reading the UK edition of "Selected Letters 1958-65", which has opened my eyes as to how much came before the publication of "Post Office" which I've often (incorrectly) counted as THE START.
Anyway - that's me.
