hello.
long time reader,first time poster.
does anyone know the name of this poem:
found it on the web some time ago, but now I can't find
it anymore. I have looked through most of his books and
also checked the DB, but so far unsuccessfully.
anyone? thanks in advance.[/quote]
long time reader,first time poster.
does anyone know the name of this poem:
is there a greater
conspiracy at work here?
alone right now
at this machine
typing out the mundane
moments of the day
illuminating words and ideas
in short
uneducated
scribbles
have they taught me anything?
have they taught anyone else anything?
endless strings
of stories pass by each other
in endless strings
of wasted chances
and I watch them play out
in small glimpses
as each path crosses another
path crosses
another path
until everything is connected
again.
and I'm left without any
real ways to communicate
the big picture
because it's so fucking big sometimes
that it becomes easier to remind
everyone that the small stories
and little moments
are bigger than we think
like the feel of this wine glass in my hand
right now
and the humid air coming in through the window
with the cats rubbing against the night
seeing everything
and nothing at all
just like most of us did today.

also checked the DB, but so far unsuccessfully.
