Just finished the last episode of The Office, original U.K. version.

the U.K. The Office is one of my favourite shows ever.

I've come to prefer the American version. The way they have developed the characters and moved forwards from Gervais and Merchants basic premise completely trumps the original. Though this obviously comes with hindsight, and with Gervais' reputation in my opinion tarnished completely by the overrated Extras.

The best British Comedy of the last decade has undoubtedly been 'Peep Show'.

it's quite refreshing to hear someone from england prefer the American Office over the original. steve carell and rainn wilson are excellent...
