I remember reading in one of the letter-manuscripts on this site that B. mentioned Rechy as "this guy, John Rechy" who came over and told him about some big advantage he got for his new novel or something.

Has anyone information about their relationship? Did they change letters or something or lived close to each other?

Wow, $800 per print. Even Montfort wasn't that expensive. ;)

I didn't hear much about Rechy, so I don't know what their relationship was. Someone else will probably know.

I read his "Bodies and Souls" a few years ago...Had it's moments but it wasn't my thing. It was centered in LA, so he's probably a LA writer, hence the connection to Buk.
