Has anyone read any of his work? Not all of it has been translated into English, although City Lights has a couple books. It's genre fiction (noir/crime to be exact), but that's no reason to turn up your nose at it. He's a really good writer - 'The Prone Gunman" is an amazing book, if you're looking for someone new to read and don't want much commitment (at 145 pages, it breezes by pretty quickly).
