You have to wonder, in a rant like that, what they found so offensive that they had to XXXXXX it out.

It just goes to show that the early 60's was pretty much still the 1950's in America. Until Oswald and The Beatles came along, anyway. And it shows how out of place Bukowski was, even then.

I love Buk's lists... I can't seem to get enough of them, especially when they go on and on like this one. A nice early piece of prose!
