A TV series centered around characters who are tied to the same horse-racing track.

No idea this is any good.

I was going to give it a go last year (seemed like a good cast) but then I heard that the series was being cancelled after some of the horses were fatally injured. Not sure how well the script resolves as a consequence of that fact.

It was difficult to watch and we gave up on it. It's full of horse racing (and breeding) jargon. So much so that unless you know those things you can feel lost. I had no idea why the bad guy was a bad guy. Or even who was supposed to be a bad guy, actually.

Great cast, it should have been awesome, but that's the way it goes.
