When I read Post Office I was drawn into his ability to describe the normal day for the allotted class. I give him high regard for his struggle to not manipulate his self worth for a shiny turd. Some people never go crazy . What truly horrible lives they must live. We are here to live life so well that death will tremble to take us. If your loosing your soul and you know it then you still have a soul left to loose. Good shit.

Welcome! I love Post Office! It is such a great, funny, well-written introduction to Bukowski, and it is still, after many years, in my personal top three of all of his books, along with Ham on Rye and The Last Night of the Earth Poems.
