Name that poem (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know the name of the poem whereby Bukowski was driving a mail truck and trying to get home before Miriam left? He abandoned the truck, ran home and found a note saying she got sick of waiting and left.

According to where he says he abandoned the truck in that poem, he may well have worked out of the Pico Heights station, 90006. At least for a time in '53, '54, before becoming a clerk at Terminal Annex.

For all you binding-sniffers and paper-doters...

No, "Hot" is on the "Poems And Insults" CD!- And yes, it's great. The whole reading is great!
