If you're into good decadent fun in old Rome, you should watch the TV series, "I Claudius" (or read the books by Robert Graves). I'll bet you can get it cheap on Amazon.

If you like sex-charged, historically inaccurate films about Rome, then you need go no further than Caligula.

Funny bit of a story concerning Caligula. I rented it back in the days when vid shops were everywhere. Go to a shoe store and it wouldn't be surprising to see a section set aside for video rental. Anyway, there was a small locally owned grocery store that only carried family fare type movies (nothing rated R certainly) and there in all its infamous glory set Caligula. To this day I get a chuckle over it. It's history, it must be good for the kiddies. Heh.

I need to rewatch I, Claudius. Great series I've not seen in many a year. Good one to note, Bukfan.
