Charles Bukowski - American author

i subscribed to this guy's blog a few months ago after reading about him on another website. he seems to be an interesting guy and a good writer although i've yet to read any of his books.
anyway, he almost died recently and has posted a great story of the whole ordeal that i really enjoyed so i thought i would pass it along here. there's plenty of other good stuff to read on his site as well...
