I went to Barnes and Noble, the best birthday presents are books, so the past few years my mom always takes me book shopping.
I finally bought Sifting through the madness for the word, the line, the way.
Also bought a hardcover copy of what I believe is the newest book of poems: The People look like Flowers at Last
What I was really excited for was the short stories:
There's no Business
and
Bring me your Love both illustrated by R. Crumb. They're about the size of a comic book, with the story and a few illustrations, totally awesome.
Finally bought the Barry Miles Charles Bukowski biography.
bought some other semi-related stuff.
Fante
D.H Lawrence
Kerouac
