non bukowski BSP hardcover to trade (1 Viewer)

okay... i've got an extra copy of alfred chester's head of a sad angel that i want to trade (or sell, if you want). this is one of my favorite non-bukowski black sparrow books- it's a collection of stories that ranges from subtle and powerful to not subtle and weird/surreal (i like the latter stories less- chester wasn't stable psychologically, and his writing reflects it). still, it's worth a read, and there are a few stories in there that are incredibly well written.

the book is a hardcover first ed., limited to 400 copies. it's in "fine" condition. prices on abe start at $40, and jeff maser (who i think most will agree is a very fair seller in terms of price, and who is also extremely knowledgeable about BSP) lists it at $45.

if you have anything you'd like to trade (and that you think would be a fair trade), let me know... maybe a hardcover first of another BSP book you don't want, a stack of old lit mags, some extra broadsides or chaps from a press you may run (actually, you probably have this already, bill), some books you don't want anymore, whatever... just don't get mad if i turn you down.

if you want to buy, i think $25 (the published price) is fair for this one.

Hi,
When the weather breaks, I'll go up in the attic and look through my BSP signed hardcovers. I have about 50 of them up there. Not all are signed, but they are all firsts. If anyone is interested ni specific authors, please let me know. Right now it is a little too hot.

They are stored safely up there and are all near fine to fine, which would be called near mint to mint if these were anything except books....
