Proof LOCKED IN THE ARMS (1 Viewer)

Usually wrong.
I have a chance to buy an uncorrected proof of H. S.'s biography LOCKED etc. at a modest cost, and I'm wondering is there anything in it that didn't make it into the published first edition? I don't need it if it's just got a different cover, but if there significant differences in the text, I'd be interested.

Or where he was knighted The Almighty And Holy Unassailable King Of All Things Bukowski. Surely he was knighted The Almighty And Holy Unassailable King Of All Things Bukowski? He had to have been, the way he comes across.

That's something I hadn't considered: the author's bio. Perhaps it was too grandiose and got toned down a notch or two by a copy editor with some sense of proportion? But what I was hoping for is that one of you Bukowski walking encyclopedias (I say that with love) would tell me there was a letter in it that couldn't be quoted for copyright reasons, or a liabelous secondhand story that got yanked, or some other juicy tidbit that will make it worth my $8.
