This is pretty cool. All of this is done on Goatskin. This is the kind of book that would be expensive and worth it. Not that I could afford it.... They seem to do amazing work.

The gold embossing on the spine was a great contrast to the other mediums. Nice clip, thanks.

That looks like he's applying gold leaf. I did that a bit back in the 60s -- not on my own publications, but on leather bindings I restored. The price of gold is pretty high these days. Do binders still use the real thing?
