I'm sorry I can't help you with the book, but I did want to say I've picked this book up many times without being able to bring myself to buy it.

Robert Fisk is one of the last living journalists.

I've been reading his stuff for over a decade.

I have 'Pity the Nation' - a painful read. Happy to send you that if you're interested.

the library down here sucks. I've picked through the books for years. Rarely, a jewel is found. thanks for the replies though guys. usually i make threads like this and narry a word is heard.

The search continues. I will get my hands on this book, if it's the last thing I do.
