A new 6 part documentary from Ken Burns (who was responsible for The War, Jazz and The Civil War - all highly recommended). Excellent so far, plus they are making the full episodes available (in a high enough quality that it looks good on a 42" screen) for free online viewing h e r e but only until October 8.

I love PBS.

Every time I turn it on, they're talking about Yosemite. I love the place and all, but I would like to see the other episides.

yep. caught some of it last night. good stuff. it's funny to hear of teddy roosevelt wanting to make sure the buffalo didn't become extinct before he had the chance to shoot one...
