What poem/story is this line from? (1 Viewer)

[AS CRAZY AS I EVER WAS]

The line is something similar to "I now look back on the young man who just wanted to die and the old man who doesn't care either way." I believe it's included in a poem and obviously is from his final years. Any help appreciated.
