The nose, the lips, the ear, everything is wrong - who the fuck is this? Shocked that it's sold. I'm not saying I could do it any better, but I'd be too ashamed to show this or even auction it.

The tiny hand is the result of a childhood bout of polio. Bukowski normally hid the withered hand in photographs, so you've probably just never seen it. He also had two extra ribs and six toes on his left foot.
