Just watched a Muhammad Ali Highlight Reel and it got me to thinking, I don't recall Bukowski writing about or mentioning Ali once in either story, poem, column or letter?
Don't know if that is in any way remarkable or not but since Bukowski obviously was into boxing and referenced it quite a few times in his writing (not as often as the track or drinking or classical music, but still) it's interesting that Ali never came up since he must have dominated not only the sport but all media in this regard througout the 60s and early 70s?
Does anybody recall Bukowski writing about Ali anywhere?
