I was turned onto Bukowski decades ago. Hadn't checked in for a long while though. In conversation with a gardening client re our work, I noticed a Bukowski collection. I remarked on that and then I heard a great recollection of hers re Bukowski, and It was On. I broke out my books. 3 days later, a lover of mine from 30 years ago contacted me because he had been reading Bukowski's short stories. That Mr. Bukowski had rekindled the fire. Back to self compassion and compassion for others. Mr. Buk did this. Synchronicity.
