Bukowski fans: are we negative? (1 Viewer)

To me, Buk was neither positive nor negative. He was a realist.

However, I think of him as a "victorious/honorable" realist because of the fact that he never flinched. And survived. And in fact, prospered to become an old man lighting cigars in his upstairs study near the harbor and blowing smoke rings in between poems at the age of 70. Life punched. He counter-punched and won.

So maybe that puts me in the positive camp ?

yep
