contributors' notes (1 Viewer)

in the poem 'contributors' notes' (in 'People look like flowers'), he gives a lot of imaginary contributor's names, while mocking the whole concept of contributor's notes.

Do we have a story behind this? Are (some of) the persons real? Was this probably taken from somewhere 1:1 (like 'A fan letter')? Do we have the real names of the persons he had in mind (if so)?

Can't really answer your question. Appears originally in NYQ #15 (Summer 1973). The connection in the database hasn't been made. Some changes made from 1973 to 2007. Not sure by who, or why. Attached for your perusal.
