Descant Vol. 8, No. 1 -- Early Critical Study of Charles Bukowski (1963)

I sold this copy today, so I thought I'd post the content for posterity. The PDF looks like it's cut off on the right, but it's not -- my scanner was giving me problems.
Published in 1963, Descant Vol. 8, No. 1, features a very early critical study of Charles Bukowski by John Z. Bennett, an English professor out of University of Southwestern Louisiana. The essay was published prior to release of It Catches My Heart in Its Hands.

Thx for sharing. I wonder if Bukowski knew about this article.

I also wonder if John Z. Bennett was John Bennett of Vagabond Press, who printed Bukowski later and was the reason Bukowski and Linda King fought in San Francisco during his reading there, if I remember correctly.
